Many residents have contacted Cllr Mandi Tandi about ongoing disruption to the waste collections for months now.
Food waste collections have not taken place in parts of Knebworth and across North Herts. This is not good enough.
NHDC has reported that one of the reasons for this is sickness absences. Conservative Councillors have gained assurances from the Waste Team that they are exploring options for a solution to this problem.
Waste collection is one of the most basic functions of any Council. It carries with it health and safety risks for residents if not dealt with properly. NHDC’s current Labour/Lib Dem administration seriously needs to prioritise this service to prevent further missed collections.
