I’m standing to represent the views of local people and the issues that matter to them, building on Cllr Mandi Tandi’s great work.
I have been a Knebworth resident for a number of years and have a young family who hope to attend the local primary school when they are old enough. I work full time on the local transport infrastructure and understand the everyday issues that we all face. I enjoy shopping locally in Knebworth and the surrounding area supporting our amazing small businesses. Their services are key to keeping our village and local area a vibrant place to live.
As a keen runner and cyclist, I’m out and about most days and very aware of some of the challenges such as parking, speeding and congestion on our local roads. I’m aware of the delicate balance between having a local airport, but not the blight of increased noise and air pollution as a result of uncontrolled expansion. I will challenge the Labour/Lib Dem leadership at NHDC over their failure to deliver meaningful change for Knebworth.
