I have lived in Codicote for nearly 20 years and represented Codicote for the last 4 years as your District Councillor. I have a young family who attended Codicote School before starting at Hitchin Boys School this year. I work full time for the NHS, prior to joining the NHS I worked for Hertfordshire Police for over 25 years.
I love Codicote, it’s an amazing village and has some wonderful people and amenities. I enjoy shopping locally in Codicote and the surrounding area, supporting our amazing small businesses. Their services are key to keeping our village and local area a vibrant place to live.
I am a keen football fan and am now a club official for Codicote FC. I am aware of challenges faced by local people, such as parking, speeding, and congestion on our roads. I’m concerned about the delicate balance between having a local airport, but not the blight of increased noise and air pollution as a result of uncontrolled expansion. I will continue to challenge the Labour/Lib Dem leadership at NHDC over their failure to deliver results for Codicote.
I look forward to meeting you and hope you will vote for me, a local candidate who will represent your views and stand up for what really matters to Codicote residents.
